Wholesale shoe sales manager had many interests

LYNNFIELD — Kim H. (Higgins) Gobbi, 61, passed away at the Beverly Hospital on Dec. 10.
Kim was born in Long Island, N.Y. to the late John and Christine (Curran) Higgins. She was raised in Long Island and came to Boston for schooling.
Kim graduated from Chamberlayne Fashion Design, lived in Malden, East Boston and Lynn for several years and the past 30 years in Lynnfield. Mrs. Gobbi worked as a sales manager in the wholesale shoe business at Pierre Shoe in Woburn for 25 years.
Kim loved traveling with her husband Ed to Paris, Italy, Europe and Hawaii.
She was an excellent cook, was a very creative person and enjoyed doing flower arrangements.
Mrs. Gobbi was the beloved wife of 21 years to Edward J. Gobbi. She was the caring stepmother of Edward F. Gobbi and Laura M. Gobbi. She was the loving sister of Christine Biggers and her husband Doug of Florida, Brianne Killion and her husband James of Norwood and Anita Frank and her husband Kenneth of New York. She was the devoted aunt of Kristen, James, Colin, Brian and Jacqueline. She is also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster St., Melrose, on Monday, Dec. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral was from the Gately Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Of The Assumption Church, 758 Salem St., Lynnfield, at 10 a.m.
Burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
