NEWBURY — On Monday afternoon, the Lynnfield High golf team lost to host Triton, 142-138, at Ould Newbury Golf Club on a cloudy, cool day. With that result, the Pioneers’ record dipped to 3-5 overall as they lost their fifth-straight match.

On Sept. 18, the Pioneers lost to visiting Ipswich, 192-177, at Sagamore Spring on a warm, sunny day.

Lynnfield will try to snap the losing streak on Sept. 26 as they host undefeated North Reading at 3 p.m. The Pioneers then head up to Black Swan on Sept. 30 to take on Georgetown. That match will start at 3:30 p.m.
