Start your morning off right with yoga on the field from 10:30-11:30 A.M. Enjoy a sense of tranquility as you experience overall wellbeing. Please make sure to BYOM (bring your own mat).

From there, get ready to groove at Zumba from 12pm -1:30pm. Get dancing and get exercising as you learn from Master Zumba Instructors Acea & Heather Theroux and Friends. These are two of the premier instructors in New England and are not to be missed!

Jump into Karate throughout the day because Karate Pro Dojo is holding free classes on the field. Lessons are from 10:00-10:30 for 4-5 year olds, 10:45-11:30 for 6-8 year olds, 11:45-12:30 for 9-12 year olds, and 12:45-1:30 for teens and adults.

Back by popular demand is the 25 foot climbing wall. Get ready to climb to the sky with professional supervision and belaying. New to this year’s fair will be bubble soccer. The growing sport is guaranteed to be the big hit of the fair. Climb inside your bubble and go for goal. Games are five minutes long with a maximum of 6 players. Staff will be present for supervision and direction.

Also new to this year’s fair are bungee races and a Jacob’s Ladder. Race to the finish with the Bungee Run and then who can climb the Jacobs Ladder first Race a friend in either activity and see who will win.

Equally important to having fun is learning about health, wellness, and your environment. The fair will feature 50 vendors offering materials and services to help you live a healthier life.

The fair also features Sustainable Melrose which is a group of civic minded organizations coming together to raise awareness of and support for our shared community responsibilities in environmental stewardship, social well-being, and economic prosperity over the long term. In collaboration with the Healthy Melrose organizers and the city, Sustainable Melrose will be taking steps to make the fair a “zero waste” and “zero carbon” event.

In addition, the ten Sustainable Melrose vendors will have great interactive demonstrations including letting you hop on a stationary bike or turn a hand-crank and see how much energy you can produce along with many others.
