MELROSE — Friends from many generations of Melrose Youth Hockey gathered at Flynn Rink on June 29 to say a heartfelt thank you to Melrose legend Frank Sorrenti as he retired from 30 years at the helm of one of the most prolific Youth Hockey programs in Massachusetts.
The Coaches Room at Flynn Rink was dedicated to Sorrenti in recognition of his service.
Mayor Paul Broduer honored Sorrenti with a Proclamation recognizing his outstanding service to his community.
Mass Hockey Registrar Peter Giuliano was also on hand to present Sorrenti with a Certificate of Recognition.
