NORTH READING – Frosty’s Fair, a North Reading tradition for the past 78 years, will be held this year at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St., on Friday, December 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Santa will also make an appearance on Friday evening and will be available for “Selfies With Santa” pictures.

With a wide assortment of Christmas crafts, ornaments and holiday décor you’ll be able to find something for everyone on your gift list. Hand decorated wreaths for the front door will also be available along with a jewelry table and a Christmas Again room where you will be able to find decorations that are looking for a new home.

There will also be a used toy room along with a wide assortment of White and Elegant Elephants and the pastor’s “Make The Season Bright” table with lighted crafts. A Farmer’s Table will also be new this year and will offer jarred pickles, honey and hand-made charcuterie boards.

It’s also safe to say that no one ever goes hungry at Frosty’s Fair. Frosty’s Café will be open throughout the fair for dinner on Friday evening and will feature lobster rolls on Saturday.

Those who have a sweet tooth will want to stop by Brenda Sutherland’s famous candy table which will feature a wide assortment of homemade fudge, candies, cookies and baked goods. The pastor’s lobster bisque will also be available at the home cooking to go table. The bisque can be frozen for your holiday gatherings and ordering in advance is encouraged since the bisque sells out quickly. Orders may be placed by emailing the church office at office@nrucc.org. Or you can call the church office, 978-664-3703.

The silent auction and raffle table will feature a $400 gift card to The Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort in Ogunquit, Maine as well as tickets for a Patriots vs. Jets football game, Barbie Basket and Lego City. Children attending the fair will also be able to do some Christmas shopping in a special room just for them.
