FOLLOWING the July passing of Michael O’Neill, longtime North Reading resident and significant contributor to its youth soccer program, North Reading Youth Soccer created the Mike O’Neill Volunteer of the Year Award. O’Neill’s family recently presented the inaugural awards to Brian Hawley and John Pagliuca. In the front row are Mike’s grandsons, Kevin and Owen Britton, both second generation members of NRYS.
