MELROSE — As we scuffle through the remainder of the winter, many can’t wait to hit the links at Mount Hood, the city’s great public golf course.
But why wait? The company that manages Mount Hood — Sagamore Golf, Inc. — is offering an indoor golf experience in the clubhouse that will surely chase the seasonal blues away.
Mount Hood Golf Club’s all-new Trackman indoor golf simulators are open and in full swing. The simulators are available all winter for you to enjoy.
The club also has some great food and beverage options available, so keep those clubs handy in the trunk of the car this winter and book your indoor round today with your favorite foursome!
There are two simulators in the larger function room in the clubhouse and one in the smaller room. There is also a Private Room rate, which is for those looking to elevate their simulator time! You have access to a separate room with a TV and bar with a server to check in on you and your food and beverage needs.
Winter indoor golf hours are 8 a.m. to p.m.
The rates
All bays: Early Bird Special, everyday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., $40 an hour.
Bays 1 and 2: Monday to Friday, $55 an hour.
Private room: Monday to Friday, $60 an hour.
Bays 1 and 2: Saturday, Sunday and holidays, $60 an hour.
Private room: Saturday, Sunday and holidays, $70 an hour.

The outside course remains closed. When management feels the greens, tees and fairways can handle the foot traffic, they will be sure to post any ‘opening’ updates on the web page first, so be sure to check back for updates when the weather cooperates.
