Applications due April 12 for Townwide Yard Sale

NORTH READING —There is still time to participate in the Annual Townwide Yard Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The deadline for submitting applications to be included on the Townwide Yard Sale map is next Friday, April 12.

Applications can be found on the North Reading town website (northreadingma.gov), the QR code on the pink flyers located around town, at the Edith O’Leary Senior Center, or by calling Joann at 978-664-0195.

For a small donation we do all of the multimedia publicity and your location will be noted on the map available online and for distribution the week before the sale so customers can be prepared to find the best deals.

It is the only fundraiser held annually by the Friends of the North Reading Council on Aging which provides financial support for the Senior Center to fill in the gaps not covered by the town’s budget.

There have been as many as 83 participants throughout town in previous years and the event draws customers from far and wide. There is limited availability at North Reading Town Hall, 235 North St., for those who wish to have an indoor location or whose condos prohibit yard sales.
