WAKEFIELD — The 7th annual Meghan Burnett “Fly High” Softball Tournament begins today and will continue until Sunday at various fields around Wakefield and Lynnfield. The field locations this year include three in Wakefield: Meghan Burnett Field at Wakefield High, Veterans Field and Mapleway Park. There will also be games at Lynnfield High School.
The tournament has an 18U and a 14U bracket, each made up of eight club teams throughout New England.
T-shirts, bracelets, helmet decals and more will be for sale at each of the fields. There will also be a raffle for custom cornhole boards donated by Bob’s Cornhole Company. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Meghan Burnett Foundation.
