LAKEVILLE — The Ted Williams Camp Alumni and Friends Jimmy Fund Benefit, of which North Reading resident Joe LoRusso is a volunteer member, is slated for Saturday, July 13 at Loon Pond Lodge at Ted Williams Camp, 28 Precinct St., Lakeville at noon.
The event includes a huge silent auction to include sports memorabilia and many themed packages plus a luncheon along with music bingo and entertainment by Kevin Richman.
All proceeds benefit the Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The $30 per person ticket price also includes automatic entry in a drawing for four Red Sox tickets vs the Yankees at Fenway Park on Saturday, July 27 plus meet and greet with former Red Sox players expected to attend.
