DPW STAFF took these incredible drone photos of the old Hart’s Hill water tank demo and the new water tank midway through construction. The old, bolted-steel tank was installed in 1927. At 47 feet wide and 49 feet tall, the old tank had a storage capacity of 640,000 gallons. The new tank is made of fiberglass fused bolted steel and is 47.5 feet in diameter and 51 feet tall. It has a storage capacity of 680,000 gallons. Crystal Lake can be seen in the background of both photos.
