ROCKLAND — Arlene M. (Keigan) Reyenger, 95, born April 15, 1929 passed away on October 2 surrounded by her loving family.

Growing up Arlene spent her summers at Cathy’s Cottage in Acton. ME and loved to bring her children to Acton for summers when they were growing, a love they passed to her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Braintree High class of ’47 and immediately went to work. She loved being a part of something and making a difference. Between the people she met at work and the friends she made along the way; Arlene made a wonder life full of love and memories.

Arlene was a vibrant and fun-loving person. She had a spirit about her that was contagious and brought a smile to those around her. Always ready for a party with a loaf of her date nut bread, dressed to impress and energy for days. Hers was a light that will shine long after.

Formerly from Braintree/Weymouth, for the last 20 years she called Rockland home. She was an incredible woman who loved life and lived it to its fullest. Arlene loved being a part of community and participated in many different activities. She could always be found at The Rockland Senior center putting together events or participating in activities. A place that felt like home surrounded by friends and held great importance to her. She was a member of the Rockland Golf course for 44 years, a member of Golden Agers of Rockland for 18 years and spent five of those years serving as secretary. She was a member of Friends of Abington and Friends of Rockland where she served as President for nine years. She was a member of Hole in 1 at 3rd in Back Nine in Lakeville and Crosstown Quilters of Weymouth. Arlene had been an avid golfer and was a giant fan of the Patriots. Her grandchildren and especially the great grandchildren held a special place for her.
