LYN DIEFENBACH

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Art Guild (LAG) is presenting a floral pastel demonstration by Lyn Diefenbach on Thursday, Oct. 17, taking place from 7-8:30 p.m. on Zoom.

A professional artist for more than 30 years, Diefenbach has been featured in a host of international and national exhibitions.

“Her reputation on the international stage saw her invited to demonstrate at the 100 Years of Pastelling in China celebrations, one of only six international guest artists to be so honored,” said LAG spokeswoman Pam Krinsky. “Her paintings cover a myriad of subject matter including portraits, seascapes, still life and florals, all of which consistently receive accolades and awards across the globe. The pursuit of masterly quality and technique is a high priority for Lyn, whose work is imbued with a lifetime of practice and is a celebration of her faith and of life.”

Krinsky said Diefenbach’s ability to communicate her ideas has entrenched her as a respected and sought-after tutor with teaching engagements internationally and across Australia.

“During COVID, Lyn was able to adapt her teaching to utilize Zoom successfully bringing the world into her studio,” said Krinsky. “She has also developed online video lessons available for purchase through her website at ldief.com. You can check out her beautiful art at ldief.com.”
