A very kind and caring person
PEABODY — Donna Marie Lane, of Peabody, formerly of Salem sadly passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in the comfort of her home.
She was a kind, caring person who was always there when you needed her most. Offering support, advice and love in abundance. She was a loving daughter, niece, cousin, friend and loving wife to Donald Lane for 51 years and the best mother to her sons Daniel (44) and Ryan (46). She was predeceased by her loving mother Ann Marie (Higgins) Malone “Meme”.
Donna leaves behind her loving husband, of 51 years Donald Lane. Her sons Ryan and Daniel. Loving grandchildren Conor and Olivia. Loving daughter-in-law Caitlin Lane. She also leaves behind many cherished aunts, cousins and friends who felt her warmth, generosity and endless love.
She will be missed dearly by all those she touched in life. We invite all who knew her or her family to join us in remembering a truly amazing woman.
Visiting hours were on Thursday, November 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose.
