TANNER DUPRIEST

 

 

NORTH READING — The Cape Ann League’s football coaches met recently to vote on All-Stars for the 2024 season. North Reading had five All-Stars selected, all to the CAL’s First Team: Senior WR/RB/DB Tanner DuPriest, senior WR/DB Antonio Ricca, junior QB Jason Berry, junior WR/DB Gavin Brady and junior RB/DE Otto Indelicato.

DuPriest, who was also named the CAL Kinney Division’s Defensive Player of the Year, had 32 catches for 369 yards and 8 TDs, 12 carries for 123 yards and 1 TD and 1 kick return TD for a total of 10 TDs.

 

GAVIN BRADY

 

Brady, who was also named the Kinney Special Teams Player of the Year, had 55 catches for 779 yards and 11 TDs, 6 carries for 79 yards and 1 TD and 2 kick return TDs for a total of 14 TDs.

Ricca had 17 catches for 344 yards and 5 TDs.

 

ANTONIO RICCA

 

Berry went 136-for-204 for 1,873 passing yards, 26 passing TDs and just 4 INTs. He also had 35 carries for 141 yards and 1 TD.

 

JASON BERRY

 

Indelicato had 134 carries for 860 yards and 16 TDs. He also added 15 catches for 205 yards and 1 TD for a total of 17 TDs.

 

OTTO INDELICATO

DuPriest, Ricca, Brady and Indelicato also played strong defense for the Hornets this season.

North Reading head coach Ed Blum was named the CAL Kinney Division Coach of the Year. The Hornets finished at 8-3 overall and won the Kinney Division title.
