AMESBURY — Steven A. Langille, of Amesbury, formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday March 18, 2016.
Steven was born in Medford on June 27th, 1941 to the late Allan and Cornie (Syx) Langille. He served his country with honor and was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a past member of the VFW. Steven worked for many years as a technician for AT&T. He passed away peacefully on Friday evening in the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett after a brief illness. He was 74 years of age.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Deering) Langille.
Steven was the devoted father of Christine Langille of Beachmont in Revere, David Langille of Beverly, Loriann Latmier of Nashua, and Sean Langille of Washington, D.C.
He was the dear brother of Janet Dunbar of Derry in New Hampshire, and Barbara Djenelewski of Milton and the adored grandfather of Tommy, Ricky, and Patrick. He is also survived by his may cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends honored Steven’s life by gathering on Tuesday morning March 22 in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston followed by a service in the Serenity Chapel officiated by Rev. Tom Coots.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations honoring Steven’s life may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
Services will conclude with Steven being laid to rest with Military Honors in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
