NORTH READING — Tickets are now on sale for the seventh annual Dinner Social. The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Teresa’s at Hillview, 149 North St. from 2-6 p.m.
The dinner will honor and recognize local veterans and there will be special honors to local Vietnam War veterans. Residents are invited to spend the afternoon recognizing local heroes.
The Lynn English Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadets will be appearing at the dinner.
The dinner will include light appetizers, plated meal and dessert. The 25th Marine Regiment Color Guard will be presenting. There will be a live presentation of a POW/MIA Table ceremony. There will also be music for residents’ listening and dancing pleasure. There will be door prizes as well.

Proceeds will help benefit local veterans and the Intergenerational Community Center. The North Reading Veterans Department and Veterans Committee are sponsoring the dinner.
