ROCKLAND — Kevin M. Charbonier, 44, a resident of Rockland and formerly lifelong resident of Melrose, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Nov. 12.
Kevin was born in Malden, one of two children of the late Alfred P. and Elaine D. (McLaughlin) Charbonier. He was raised in Melrose, attended St. Mary Grammar School and graduated from Malden Catholic High School.
Like his father before him, Kevin joined the Teamsters Union Local #25 after graduating high school. A proud supporter and member of the union, he considered it an honor to work for the union. He took deep pride in working on Boston movie sets for two plus decades and made many contacts through the union.
Kevin was a dedicated member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club for 25 years. He traveled the world with his friends and fellow members and made deep, lifelong bonds with his closest buddies. Kevin also enjoyed the music scene on Lansdowne Street in Boston, having played drums for local bands.
Kevin was the loving father of Angel Bagnell of Woburn. He was the devoted brother of Michele Charbonier and her husband John Hicks of Winchester. He was the caring uncle of Stephen, Madison and Shane Mazzola. He was the dear lifetime friend of Tabitha Bagnell of Woburn.
Relatives and friends gathered in honor and remembrance of Kevin’s during visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again for his funeral Service celebrated on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
