New retail space to incorporate design elements of The Ship

THE AMERICAN eagle carving along with the six 5-pointed stars will be salvaged from the stern of the original Ship Restaurant and incorporated into the facade of the new coffee shop that will be part of the Ship Mall slated to replace the iconic Route 1 landmark. The Ship’s window details and color scheme will also be replicated. A stylized version of the Ship’s mast will be added to the tower of the coffee shop.
