BEVERLY — Frances Claudine Nauss, 91, of Beverly, formerly of Wakefield, died April 24, 2018 at the Ledgewood Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly.
Born in Concord on July 1, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Larry and Dorothy (Lohnes) Nauss.
Ms. Nauss was educated at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton. She received her bachelor’s from Northeastern University, as well as a Certificate in Medical Sciences. She had worked at several hospitals in the Boston area as a Registered Medical Records Librarian and was a consultant at several nursing homes. Ms. Nauss had retired from Somerville Hospital in 1981. She had completed over 9,000 hours of volunteer service at Beverly Hospital and Ledgewood Nursing Home.
She was the sister of the late Jean Margaret Nauss and Sylvia Harrington. She is also survived by several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
