It’s hard to believe that the end of summer is upon us. Next week’s Transcript, on Thursday, August 30, will feature all the traditional Back-to-School news, such as bus routes, starting times, school lunch menus and a welcome back message from the Superintendent of Schools.
It’s a perfect edition for the many youth groups and sports teams that cater to the school-age interests to get their message out to our readers. To ensure inclusion, please submit news releases to NRTranscript@RCN.com by Monday, August 27 at noon.

Labor Day early deadlines
The following week will necessitate earlier deadlines due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 3 for the Thursday, September 6 edition.
The deadline to submit news releases is Friday, August 31 at noon. The deadline to submit ads Thursday, August 30 at 5 p.m.
