WAKEFIELD — Paul C. Smith, 62, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2019 at his residence.
Paul was born August 1, 1956 and was the son of the late George R. Smith, Sr. and Mary F. (Malonson) Smith.
Paul was born and raised in Wakefield and had attended Wakefield Memorial High School. He was a member of the West Side Social Club. He had worked as a truck driver and mover and most recently had been a taxi cab driver for Checker Cab in Woburn.
Paul was the brother of George R. Smith and his wife Ruth Ann of Wakefield. He was the uncle of Joseph Smith and his family of Tewksbury, Emily Smith and her family of Salisbury, and Neil Smith of Wakefield; he is also survived by many cousins and friends.
His funeral services will be private. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
