BYFIELD — The LHS girls’ track and field team competed at the Cape Ann League Championship Meet on Saturday at Triton High School. Lynnfield left town with 38.5 points, placing 7th overall with plenty of highlights.
Mia DeGeorge was the league champion in the discus with a personal best throw of 100’11”. DeGeorge also took 4th in the shot put with a throw of 30’2.5”.
The 4×400 relay of Liz Sykes, Ashley Mitchell, Lauren Mitchell and Lauren Braconnier got 3rd overall.
April Luders brought home 6th in the triple jump with a PR of 32’11.75” and 6th in the 400 meter hurdles with a 1:12.32.

Braconnier was 5th in the 400 meters.
Meghan Battaglia tied for 5th in the high jump with a PR of 4’8”.
Riley Hallanan was 6th in the shot put.
Lauren Mitchell took 3rd in the 800 with a PR 2:25.02 and Ashley Mitchell was 5th with a PR 2:28.75.
Grace Klonsky took 5th in the 400 meter hurdles with a PR of 1:11.29.
Emma Ricciardi was 6th in the mile with a PR time of 5:49.45.
The 4×800 relay team of Olsen, Passatempo, Sykes and Ricciardi finished in 11:17.25.
