Obit-Mead-webGEORGETOWN — Craig Mead of Georgetown, formerly of Wakefield, died Feb. 19 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Melrose on June 24, 1951, he was the son of the late Alton Mead and Louise Ingraham. He graduated from Wakefield High School in the Class of 1969.

He is survived by his wife Ann (Belliveau) Mead; sister Pamela Martin and her husband Bill of West Peabody; brother Jeff Mead and his wife Karen of Florence, Ariz.; nephew Russell Martin of West Peabody; niece Kim Barber of South Berwick, Maine; one great nephew and two great nieces; his mother and father-in-law Alfred and Pauline Belliveau of Lynn; his brother-in-law Richard Belliveau and his wife Mary of Revere; Gerald Belliveau and his wife Christine of Lynn; the late David Belliveau and his wife Margie of Saugus and several nieces and nephews.

Craig was self-employed as a contractor for over 35 years. He was a devoted husband and friend. He enjoyed hunting, boating, tuna fishing and doing yard work.
