NORTH READING — Robert J. Mauceri, 77, of North Reading and formerly of Revere, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Born in Boston on April 22, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (DeFranzo) Mauceri. He was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. Bob received his B.S. and M.S. in engineering from Northeastern University. He was a computer consultant for Ekaru in Westford.
Bob was a Town of North Reading volunteer since 1972. He was involved with the Finance Committee, School Committee, Hillview Commission and was a Selectman for 15 years. He had been a resident of North Reading for the past 53 years and was a member of St. Theresa Parish.
Bob had a passion for cars (especially Porsches). He loved vacationing with his family at Lake Winnipesaukee.
Family members include his loving wife of 55 years, Angela (Ciccia) Mauceri; his sons, Robert Joseph Mauceri, Jr. and David Arthur Mauceri; his daughter, Christine Mauceri Drane; his brothers, Thomas Mauceri and the late Lawrence Mauceri; and seven grandchildren, Camille, Rose and Silvia Mauceri, Trevor and Colette Drane, and Samantha and April Mauceri.
Graveside services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
