REVERE — Mary Lou (Sullivan) Lauria, 79, passed away at the Katzman Family Center for Living on April 19, 2020.

Mary Lou was born in Melrose on September 7, 1939 to the late Leo and Mary (Lucey) Sullivan. She was raised in Melrose graduated from Melrose High School and lived in Melrose until 1966 when she moved to Revere. Mrs. Lauria worked part time as a hostess at Hilltop Steak House and worked as a receptionist at the AVCO Research Company in Everett for many years.

She was a former CCD teacher at St. Mary’s Church and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Melrose and then at St. Mary’s Church in Revere. Mary Lou was an excellent cook, loved to entertain (especially on Christmas Eve), enjoyed going on cruises and traveling with her husband Vincent to Italy, California, Las Vegas, Florida and Hawaii to name a few.

Mrs. Lauria was the beloved wife of the late Vincent M. Lauria who passed away in February 2020. Loving mother of Andrew G. Lauria and Vincent M. Lauria Jr. and his wife Dawn all of Revere. Cherished grandmother of Vincent, Drew, Hailey, Dante and Andrea. Caring sister of John Sullivan and his wife Marcia. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a private visitation and graveside service with the interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden with her cherished husband Vincent. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date with information to follow after the Mass is scheduled.
