WAKEFIELD — Kevin M. Butler, 66, of Wakefield, died on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence.
Kevin was born in Melrose on January 30, 1954 and was the son of Doris M. (Walton) Butler and the late Francis R. Butler.
Kevin was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1972. He was a longtime employee of the Wakefield School Department and was a member of St. Florence Church and the Holy Name Society at the church and worked as the secretary for the society. He was an avid camper and musician, and he played the organ.
In addition to his mother, Doris M. (Walton) Butler, Kevin is survived by his brothers Steven F. Butler of North Reading and David W. Butler of Wakefield.
His funeral Mass was held at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, July 23. Visitation for relatives and friends was held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday.
