WAKEFIELD — The Relay For Life of Wakefield is holding an informational meeting for participants, Team Captains and anyone in the community who is interested in finding out more about the event.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. at The Savings Bank, 357 Main St., Wakefield.
Relay For Life is a life-changing, fun-filled overnight event that brings together 3.5 million people across the country to raise cancer awareness and funds for research, advocacy efforts, education and patient services. During the 15-hour Relay For Life of Wakefield, teams of family, friends, co-workers, teammates, club members and neighbors set up campsites and take turns walking the track while enjoying music, food, entertainment, games and more.
