Melrose residents will be able to drop off styrofoam packaging, cardboard and paper at the DPW Yard on Tremont Street on Saturday, Jan. 9, from 8 a.m. to noon. Don’t throw all that Christmas present packaging in the trash. Bring it on down to the yard. Bring full pieces of clean styrofoam (no packing peanuts), cardboard, gift wrapping (no foil or glitter), packing paper and deflated air bubble wrap.
