STONEHAM — Pasquale “Pat” C. Cambria, age 86, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
He was born in Boston on March 9, 1935 and was the son of the late Pasquale and Pasqualina (Martocchio) Cambria.
Pat was the devoted husband of Ruth (Greenwald) Cambria for 58 years. He was the loving father of Steven Cambria, Kristin (Cambria) Joyce and his pre-deceased son David as well as the cherished Grandfather of Derek Shaw, Christopher Joyce, Samantha Cambria, and Steven Cambria Jr. He is survived by his sisters Florence (Cambria) Massucco and husband Mel, Anne (Cambria) Rembis and husband Tony, and the late Patricia (Cambria) Forgione, in addition to many loving nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was a Navy veteran and served our country in the Korean War. He was a member and past president of the Crystal Community Club in Wakefield. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends, including his annual vacation for the past 35 years in Florida. Pat was an avid blackjack player and often traveled to Las Vegas and Foxwoods with his closest friends.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday June, 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield on Monday June 28, at 10 a.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
