Kehoe-obit-webMELROSE — Abigail “Abby” Keren Novit Kehoe, 14, of Melrose entered eternal rest Jan. 2 at home with her loving family, after a three-and-a-half year struggle with cancer.

Abby was a sweet, kind, gentle and shy but social girl, with a great sense of humor and a big laugh. She loved being creative and making crafts. She loved to read, loved musicals and loved watching funny TV shows and movies.

Abby is the beloved daughter of Amy Novit and Scott Kehoe. She is also survived by her loving sister Sarah; her grandparents Judith and Mitchell Novit and Barbara and Thomas Kehoe; her uncle David Novit and aunt Cathy Demonet, uncle Robb Kehoe and aunt Tammy Tyree; and her cousins Nicole Novit, Brenton Novit, Maya Novit, Devin Kehoe, Aiden Kehoe,and Connor Ranes.

Services at Temple Beth Shalom, 21 East Foster St. in Melrose, were on Monday, Jan. 5. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
