Movies by the Lake are back

WAKEFIELD — Wakefield Community Access Television announces that Movies by the Lake is back for the 2021 season!
Working closely with Town Hall, WCAT has been given permission to continue our outside movies series this summer. The selected movies were voted on for the 2020 season (all but “Raya,” which is just awesome.) So, come join WCAT on the Lower Common by the bandstand for five weeks this summer as people gather together again under the stars to enjoy a fun, family-friendly movie each Thursday evening.
Movies begin at nightfall.

You asked and we’ve listened. We are now offering sponsorship levels!
Wakefield Community Access Television are hosting five movie nights this summer and are seeking additional sponsoring partners. Expenses of approx. $2,500 per movie include one-time license to publicly show the selected movie and a 32’ movie screen with quad sound. WCAT created the Movies By The Lake in 2015.
In summer 2019, an average of 300-350 patrons attended each movie night from Wakefield and surrounding towns. The community is involved in the selection of movies. In 2020, the movies were selected but not held due to Covid-19.
Major Movie Sponsorship of $2,000 is for the whole movie season – all 5 movies Features:
– Sponsor logo is printed on the movie postcard and/or mini-posters (Deadline: June 16)
– Sponsor can set up tables, tents, etc. with information, and giveaways for any or all movies. Start 6 p.m. to dark.
– Sponsor logo will be displayed on the side or below the movie screen and on WCAT TV and Facebook.
– Sponsor can provide unlimited social media presence for all movies.
– Exposure to hundreds of local families and citizens of your organization’s message and fun!
– A short PSA about your organization can be produced by WCAT TV. (Will not be aired on movie night.)
Supporting Sponsorships of $1000 for three movies or $500 for one movie are also available (limited). Features:
– Sponsor logo is printed on the movie postcard and/or mini-posters (Deadline: June 16)
– Sponsor can set up tables, tents, etc. with information, and giveaways for one or three movies depending on their sponsorship level. Start 6pm to dark.
– Sponsor can provide unlimited social media presence for all movies.
