LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield American Legion Post 131 is in the process of rebuilding and is looking for new members.

Veterans of any age, gender and service branch who reside in Lynnfield are welcome to join. The Wakefield-Lynnfield Elks Club has opened its doors for the Legion and the group’s next meeting is Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. Attendees should park in the back and enter through the back door.

American Legion Post 131 is also looking to build a veterans’ social and networking group, with the primary focus on helping fellow veterans in Lynnfield and in Massachusetts.
