Raised and educated in Wakefield

READING — Ann E. DeSisto, 82, of Reading passed away Monday, April 19, at her home.
She was born in Chelsea on Nov. 27, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John E. and Myrtle (Rumson) Keats.
Ann was raised and educated in Wakefield. She was a longtime bartender in the area and most recently worked at Knotty Pine in Everett. She enjoyed traveling and crossword puzzles.
She was the loving mother of Donna Matthews-Brauer, Deborah Savage-Baker and Susan DeSisto, all of Wakefield, Christina DeSisto of Florida and the late Daniel and Ann Desisto. She was the beloved sister of Lee Meisner of Georgetown, Sam Keats of Reading and the late Ethel Bisacre and Robert Keats. She was the grandmother of James, Theresa and Paul. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
