WILMINGTON — Anne Ring, 88, of Wilmington and formerly of Florida and Wakefield, died on Friday, May 26, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Wilmington on February 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Isabelle (Babine) Doucette.

Mrs. Ring was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She enjoyed spending her summers on Prince Edward Island in Canada. Mrs. Ring also enjoyed traveling, gardening, taking photos, cooking and spending time with family.

Mrs. Ring was the wife of the late Andrew P. Ring. She is survived by her two daughters Carol A. Philbrick of Wilmington and Margaux Thurber of Chapel Hill, NC, and her two sons Andrew P. Ring, Jr., of Hollis, ME and Daniel Ring of Surry, ME. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, her 8 great grandchildren and close family friends Melbourne Campbell of P.E.I., Canada and Mildred Lafferty of Methuen.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas-Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex, Ave., Wilmington on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
