LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Anthony J. Gelsomini of Londonderry, N.H., died Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Born in Capestrano, Italy, on July 14, 1953 he was the son of the late Leo and Irma (Colasacco) Gelsomini.
Anthony was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1971, and attended Sylvania Technical School in Boston. He had worked as a sales representative for Cray, selling computers. He had been a New Hampshire resident for the last 30 years.
He enjoyed coaching youth ice hockey, boating, fishing and playing his guitar.
Mr. Gelsomini was the beloved husband of Ann Marie Gelsomini. He was the loving father of Mark Gelsomini of Los Angeles, Calif. and Leslie Gelsomini of Rochester, N.H. He was the brother of Anna Pitman of Wakefield, Arminda St. Pierre of Peabody and Linda Gelsomini of Wakefield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 o’clock.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 pm.
Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
