WAKEFIELD — Antoinette M. Wood, 92, of Wakefield died Wednesday, May 20.
Born in Malden on June 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Franco and Celia (Radocchi) Orsini.
Mrs. Wood was raised in Wakefield and had worked as a stitcher at the L.B. Evans Shoe Company before retiring.
She was the loving mother of Carol Murphy, Richard Wood, Robert Wood and his wife Joyce, Dianne Wood, John Wood, Donna Wood, Steven Wood, William Wood and the late Victor Wood and Debra Scheri. She was the sister of the late Armand Orsini, Elizabeth Gazzola, Yolanda Angelo, Jean Nicastro and Eleanor Lubinski. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services were private. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
