Advocates lead up to seven

WAKEFIELD — In the 12th week of the Knights of Columbus bowling league’s second half season, Brian Brickley topped the league for the second straight week, this time with a 349.

Brickley had strings of 97-112-140 to lead his first place Advocates to a 6-2 win over the Chancellors.

The Chancellors had Ian Power at 332 and Jack Roche with a 303.

Bob Curran’s 325 and Steve Addonizio’s 309 gave the Recorders a 6-2 victory over the second place Lecturers.

Mike Maloney’s 291 was high for the Lecturers who dropped seven points behind the Advocates.

Bill DeRoche Jr’s 333 led the Guards to a 6-2 decision over the Wardens. Shaun Gean rolled a 330 for the Wardens.
