WAKEFIELD — Bruce Edward Cameron, 63, a resident of Wakefield for over 30 years, formerly of Reading, died Sept. 27 at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Bruce was born in Melrose on Nov. 2, 1952, the son of Audrie (Burton) Cameron of Reading and the late Edward P. Cameron. Bruce grew up in Reading and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School. He then went on and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

He was the owner of Stylecraft Supply Inc., a Benjamin Moore retail home decorating company in Wakefield which his father opened in 1952.

Bruce was an avid golfer and a member of the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton.

Bruce was the devoted father of Amanda C. Cameron of Wakefield and Allison L. Cameron of Andover. He was the cherished brother of Peter B. Cameron and his wife Lynne of Reading and the late Christine Grigun. He was the brother in law of John Grigun of Lexington and loving uncle of Peter H. Cameron of Los Angeles, Ross E. Cameron of New York and Audrie C. Grigun of Boston.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Old South United Methodist Church, 6 Salem St., Reading, at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.

Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home at 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn Street), Reading.
