WAKEFIELD — Camella A. Fondini, 93, a lifelong Wakefield resident died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Wakefield on November 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Felice and Susie (Evangelista) D’Alessandro.

Mrs. Fondini was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1941. She had retired in 1994 as a Patient Accounts clerk at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Mrs. Fondini was the wife of the late Giordano E. Fondini. She is survived by her two daughters; Susan A. Hodgkins and her husband Frank of Melrose and Maria A. Fondini of Wakefield, her two grandsons; Matthew Antetomaso and his wife Mary of Methuen and Jordan Antetomaso of Georgetown, and her great-granddaughter Gianna Claire Antetomaso. Mrs. Fondini is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Patricia A. Fondini, her four brothers Anthony D’Alessandro, Phil D’Alessandro, Joseph D’Alessandro, and John
D’Alessandro and her sister Theresa Enos.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
