READING — Carol M. Moore, 79, of Reading died on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at her residence.

Born in Medford on Nov. 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Pauline R. (Doran) Elliott.

Mrs. Moore had been a resident of Reading for the past 21 years. She was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1954. Mrs. Moore was the founder and dance teacher of The Dance Studio of Wakefield and had also worked as an office manager at Frederick Heller Eye Doctor of Wilmington. She was a member of Nimble Thimblers in Reading.

Mrs. Moore was the wife of the late William C. Moore. She was the mother of Diane M. Abraham and her husband Richard of Reading, Thomas Moore and his wife Ellen of Brockton, Susan Edson of Reading, Stephanie Furness and her husband Charles of Connecticut, John Moore of Malden, George Moore of Alaska, Margaret Cerullo and her husband Robert of Wakefield and Kevin Moore of Chelsea. Mrs. Moore was the sister of the late George Elliott, William Elliott, Richard Elliott, Pauline Elliott, Patricia Collings and Edward Elliott. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
