Shared laughter and good times with family and friends

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Carolyn Hope Miller, 80, passed on June 5, 2017 at the Holy Cross Catholic Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Surrounded by her children, Pamela, Scott and Jay, she passed peacefully with them at her bedside with the gentle melody of Frank Sinatra playing in the background.
Carolyn Hope Cummings was born on September 1, 1936 to Chester and Rose Cummings in Melrose, Mass. She married Edwin Miller in July 1961 in Melrose and later moved to Lynnfield, Mass. where she raised her three children, Pamela, Scott and Jay.
Along with many wonderful life-long friends, she shared her light of life and unrelenting quest for fun, good times and her keen ability to make you laugh in any situation. She shared her fun-loving heart with everyone she encountered. She later lived in Pompano Beach, Florida, where she enjoyed selling real estate, golfing and great times with her late husband, Ed Miller.
Carolyn is survived by her three children, Pamela Miller-Picchiarini and her husband Bill Picchiarini, Scott Miller and Jay and Raylene Miller, and her stepchildren, Joyce Carter and Alan Miller. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Rose of Texas, as well as her six grandchildren, Pam, Michelle, Michael, Joanna, Nichole and Jesse.
A Catholic service was held at her bedside. A celebration of Carolyn’s life was held on June 10 in Pompano Beach, Fla. A ceremony of ashes will be held in Massachusetts in August of 2017.
