LYNNFIELD — Changes are coming to the Lynnfield Center Water District’s rate structure.

Operation Kindness helps lift spirits at LHS

LYNNFIELD — Operation Kindness is a small club making a big difference at Lynnfield High School.

The club started around six years when former LHS student Jess Infioriati approached English teacher Stefanie Marcoux and foreign language teacher Jodie Leibowitz about starting Operation Kindness and having the two educators

Superintendent of schools’ job posted online

LYNNFIELD — The School Committee posted the superintendent’s job on the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) website on Saturday, Feb. 1.

The committee is in the midst of searching for Superintendent Jane Tremblay’s successor. Tremblay, who has led the school system since July 2014, will be retiring

LMS musical this weekend

LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Middle School’s musical will be taking center stage this weekend.

The show is called “Four Weeks and Counting,” a musical about putting on a musical. The show will feature familiar songs and a brand-new script written by Lynnfield High School sophomore Charles Wainwright.

LYNNFIELD — Superintendent Jane Tremblay unveiled the recommended fiscal year 2021 school budget to the School Committee on Jan. 21.

Jacob Book takes LMS’s GeoBee crown

LYNNFIELD — Sixth-grader Jacob Book was crowned champion of Lynnfield Middle School’s third annual National Geographic GeoBee competition on Jan. 17.

Book won the GeoBee after defeating seventh-grader Matthew Squadrito during the competition’s championship round. The LMS event served as the first round in the annual National Geographic GeoBee,
