Chiefs report fall school evacuation drills succeeded

LYNNFIELD — The School Department’s evacuation drills went smoothly this past fall, Fire Chief Glenn Davis and Police Chief David Breen told the Board of Selectmen last week.

The drills for all four schools were held in October. Breen said the drills were designed to build upon security

LCWD gives update on water supply study

LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Center Water District (LCWD) officials are hoping to have an update on the water supply study by this April, Water Superintendent John Scenna told 16 residents during a Dec. 12 workshop in the Meeting House.

Local family collects holiday cards for soldiers, veterans

LYNNFIELD —Wing Road resident Lauri Priestley and her family have been collecting holiday cards and donating them to veterans and soldiers serving overseas for the past five years.
