New youth football league makes case to parents

LYNNFIELD — Over 30 parents attended an informational meeting hosted by Lynnfield Pioneer Youth Football and Cheer (LPYFC) at St. Maria Goretti Church on Thursday, Jan. 11.

LPYFC President Steven Connolly said the organization was incorporated on Oct. 19, 2017.

Local man, hit by vehicle, dies

LYNNFIELD — A 38-year-old Olde Towne Road resident was struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of Chestnut and Main streets late Sunday afternoon and eventually died from his injuries.

LYNNFIELD — The town of Lynnfield is asking residents to help prevent flooding by clearing the storm drains around their homes of snow and debris.

In anticipation of heavy rains, warm temperatures and resulting melting of snow and ice today through Saturday, flooding conditions could quickly arise in town.

Blizzard dumps 14 inches on town
