Lynnfield Recreation’s ‘old school’ basketball league takes flight

LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield Recreation’s new coed summer basketball league is a big hit.

The new recreational basketball league began its inaugural season last month. The league’s games are played from 6-8 p.m. at the Lynnfield Middle School basketball court on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

MUNICH, Germany — The Boston Braves F.C. recently traveled to Munich, Germany where they competed against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena. 

The Braves, founded by Lynnfield native Spiros Tourkakis in 2001, are a members only group of soccer players formed to promote the principles of friendship and camaraderie.

Lynnfield Summer Farm League Softball
