LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield 12-year old Williamsport baseball team was eliminated in the District 16 tournament recently after two hard-fought games. Both matchups were tight, low-scoring affairs.

On June 27, Lynnfield was edged, 3-2, by Saugus at Hurd Ave. Field in Saugus.

LYNNFIELD —  Lynnfield High boys’ track and field head coach Bill Wallace gave out several team awards at the team’s end-of-season banquet held at the high school recently.

Mendese, Kelter named boys’ track All-Stars

LYNNFIELD — Two members of the Lynnfield High boys’ track and field team made the Cape Ann League All-Star team this spring. The two Pioneers to make the team are senior Eli Mendese and junior Nick Kelter.

For Mendese, he made it in the high jump for the second year in a row.
