MELROSE — The Melrose Music Festival (formerly the Four Corners Music Festival) returns on Saturday, July 27 from 2-7 p.m. at 360 Lynn Fells Parkway. The MMF is a family-friendly, outdoor event which will feature two stages of local musicians from all age groups, highlighted by the Peter Parcek Trio.

Brazil St. sewer mishap raises ire, questions

MELROSE — Four homes were deemed uninhabitable after a serious mishap Thursday morning, June 20, on Brazil Street caused raw sewage to back up and come spewing from residents’ toilets, covering floors and walls.

MELROSE — The academic year that wrapped up last week was the first one in Melrose where the high school and middle school began later.

Both schools began the day at 8:15 and ended about 2:40 in the afternoon.
