Fire Dept. is hiring EMTs, paramedics

NORTH READING – The North Reading Fire Department is currently hiring trained emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics, Chief Don Stats has announced.

The NRFD is a civil service department comprised of two ALS ambulances that respond to approximately 2,700 calls for services with 65 percent of that response being EMS-related, Stats said.
