WAKEFIELD – The School Committee approved a budget proposal of $58,601,611 for Fiscal 2027 in a video conference meeting Wednesday, April 1 at 4:05 p.m.

The total represents a 5.73 percent increase of $3,176,450 over the Fiscal 2026 budget of $55,425,161. The increase from Fiscal 2025 to 2026 was 5.94 percent.
